This session will cover what you need to know to better understand what corporate sponsors really care about in 2018, plus what they expect from you as a partner. We’ll explore ideas to grow sponsorship revenue in a new way, and talk tips to strengthen corporate/nonprofit partnerships. This is ALL about what corporations are looking for in “purpose-driven partnerships!”

AUDIENCE: The class is beneficial to all nonprofits interested in growing corporate sponsor revenue or partnerships. It will cover the information and fundamentals to help you become a non-profit who understands modern sponsorships.
Instructor Colleen Lockwood is a devoted philanthropic and community leader with extensive Fortune 500 private sector experience in marketing and branding. In her role as National Vice President of Advancement for “Women of Tomorrow,” she is charged with expanding awareness and securing financial support nationally. She was previously Vice President of Advancement at Child Rescue Coalition and a Major Gift Officer at the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. She presented on “The Essentials of Corporate Sponsorship” at AFP’s 2017 Planet Philanthropy Conference.
Colleen serves on the board of Fleet Week Port Everglades, and volunteers for a number of organizations locally. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing Research from the University of Maryland, her Masters of Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University, and completed an Executive Leadership program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
